Do you're kids ever get scared of the dark? Do they like to read in bed? Maybe you need a good, soft light for breastfeeding? The AnimaLamp can do all of those things, wrapped up in a cute body!

Who says children and wild life can’t play together? Mobi introduces AnimaLamps™, the cool-running LED light that’s great for desktop, late night changing table and feeding, reading in bed, games, and playtime. Portable and solidly built, AnimaLamps ™ can go anywhere. Adjustable brightness, one-touch operation and built-in rechargeable battery makes it the perfect light for children. Caution: we’ve heard reports of parents stealing AnimaLamps ™ from  the nursery. Do your kids a favor- buy one of your own!

We received the Giraffe AnimaLamp to try out, and we fell in love!

My Thoughts

First of all, lets get past the cuteness of this little lamp. It would look great in any nursery, or even a child's bathroom. It would be great for late night changings, nursings, or even just checking in on them.

When we first received our AnimaLamp, Luke could not wait to get his hands on it. As soon as he knew it was a light, he had to have it. He loves lights of any kind, and the fact that this was his very own lamp...he was thrilled.

This lamp is very light weight, and is just the right size for little hands. But don't let the smaller size fool you, it's bright. This lamp is definitely bright enough for anything you may need to use it for, even if you're using it as a flashlight, it's plenty bright for that. I love that it's not a harsh light, it's a nice soft light, so if your turning it on around a sleeping baby, it won't disturb them.

This lamp has 12 LED lights under the head, that are cool running so you don't have to worry about little fingers getting burned while using it. The head rotates back so you can focus the light where it's needed, which I thought was a great asset. You can tilt the head down to focus the light on a smaller area, or push it back to have more wide spread light.

To turn on the AnimaLamp, all you have to do is tap a button on his belly and he turns on. When I say tap, I do mean tap. It's so easy to push, it works much like a touch lamp does, one touch and it's on and one touch and it's off. No fumbling around in the dark for switches or knobs.

The best feature of this lamp is that it is rechargeable! There is no need to buy expensive batteries that never last long enough. All you do is plug the charger into the lamp and then into the wall and let it charge. Not only is this economical, but it lets you be able to take the lamp where ever you need it, without it having to be plugged into the wall. I was surprised at how long the charge lasts. We have only had to charge ours once, and trust me, it gets plenty of use.

The AnimaLamp will definitely get used by more than just the little ones too. I have used it on more than one occasion. This little lamp will be perfect in a power outage, just keep it charged for those emergencies and it will make a life saver, I'm sure.

We give the AnimaLamp two thumbs up, so if your looking to buy a last minute Christmas gift, a baby shower gift, or just WANT one because it's so great, you can purchase your AnimaLamp HERE at Mobi Technologies Inc. for just $24.95. You will save more than that on batteries! You can choose from the Giraffe, Monkey, or a Bunny.

One of my readers will win their own AnimaLamp!
